The New Age Constitution

Blue2: Blue1 and I have edited the document under my supervision, and I will finish writing the rest of it in detail soon.

As I have gotten Ganger’s agreement (and Blue2′s I believe) to this system on certain terms, and bearing in mind that Tap and I had already supported it, and Jerry was on the fence, here is the New Golden Troops Constitution.

Great job today, Golden Troops!

We did great today, especially within our tactics. Our size was merely a 7.5/10 and our tactics were definitely a 10/10, great job guys! I know you could do it. Oh and yes, we won by the way. We averaged about 10-12 and maxed 15. Great job, read more for the pictures.

Personally I think Blue1′s idea is a bit better rounded. First off, Blue2 wants to be adviser over leader because it frees him up some more.  Blue1 is a superb politician, better then you and Jerry combined. His system is a three leader system with checks and balances, something yours forgets. Jerry is a lower rank in SWAT then you, and would be far better as overall head because he can attend things here while you are busy with SWAT. Though his role gives him much power, I do plan on making some changes to reduce his power so the next man for the job cannot abuse it as easily.

I am also proposing a 4th “Leader” role which is more of a Head Adviser role. The Head Adviser has the power to train troops and with the other Branches permission, suggest they make events, lead battles, help make political truces and etc. Of the 4 branches, he is the weakest but he also has the power to influence the next Generation of leaders, something which has killed GT several times in the past.

Now I bet all of you here are going to object, but I request to finalize the final document for review, stating the full roles of the the 4 branches, and describing laws.

Clearing everything up…

Golden Troops,

Hello every one. I’m posting this to clear everything up, so let’s get started. Basically, the Golden Troops are temporarily returning to see what we are capable of. If we do not win the tournament, then we will just return June 4, as planned before. But if we are able to win the tournament, we will have a re-start and have a big post that every body will need to comment on to receive a rank. Basically, our current leaders are:

Leaders: Ganger90, Jerry, Blue2

Our current government is a Democracy and the current rankings for it are:

President: Ganger90

Secretary of War: Jerry

I expect at least 15 or more at all the SMAC battles that we will be going to in the future. I want all former Golden Troops to return. We want only the best, we expect only the best; so bring the best. For now, Tap Dancer36 and Bluesockwa1 are advisors. Tap is leaving at the end of this month any way, and I want every body to wish him a good life. He’s served a great time here in the Golden Troops and has been very loyal, diverse, but definitely loved by each and every one of us in some way. I expect you all to make the SMAC Round 2 battle tomorrow against the Sky Troops!

A Final Ruling

Jerry: I’m sorry that I haven’t been on chat or posting/editing as much as before. S.W.A.T is war-stricken and I cannot leave it during it’s time of need. But the true revival of GT will happen around June 16, whether you guys want it or not. Remember, it’s going to be a whole new different GT that anyone has expected, for it’s time to become a long-term legendary army. Like we rightfully deserve.

What the heck is going on?!?

Ok Ganger, since you are so convinced we are not dead answer some stuff for me and if possible, in this post.

1. Who are the Leaders now. Are they the same or are they new?
2. If you claim to get full chats, why do none of the troops stay
3. Why can’t you let other leaders lead SWAT, who has a full chat often, when you have a GT event at the same time

also I am making some new GFX for site and if anyone has some good custom GT penguins (I suck at customs) I can use, please link the links on this post or something. I will leave the CSS to someone more capable

Golden Troops are back up until further notice, (Event Below)

I know that we have been claimed dead and whatever. But, I’m going to take a shot at winning this tournament. This event is in 3 days from when this post is posted. Be prepared and make sure you are on chat for the battle. And if we win, then forget about restarting. The leaders will be Ganger90 and Jerry. If we win this tournament, then it will basically be the deciding moment for the Golden Troops.  We can get a full chat definitely just from me, but now with Jerry too. Well, let’s just see what we can do with it. If we win the tournament, then basically we will not die until June 4 or whenever the restart date is. I expect 15+ at all the battles, including the one below:

GT’s 5th Generation has closed down to begin it’s rebuilding for its 6th Generation.

Checklist

• Select the new leaders
• Select the new 2ic/3ic
• Revamp the site
• Revamp the Chat

More ideas will be added on as I think of more. Now as to why GT is closing.

The pain and stress that has occurred in this army was overwhelming. This was why I had to retire and leave for another army where the work was distributed along many leaders. Now you guys understand the work that has to be done in this family for it to rise. Now you see how frustrating it is when you have high hopes and they get stomped on. So GT ends this generation to make a new one. A generation where change will happen and the family becomes re-united. We lost some members along the way, and with this new change, we hope to get them back. Here’s the run-down of GT’s future and plans.

GT’s Plan

• Establish a long-term leadership
  
• Increase it’s Recruiting resources 
• Establish a loyal Owner/Mod system

Creating the previous would help GT in the long run. This way, we won’t have to keep resetting and making new starts just so our name lives on. And how will we tackle these issues? I’ll discuss that separately. Now, for GT’s survival, it is  important that we select the most capable, dedicated, loyal leaders. These leaders must have experience in other armies, must be intelligent and must never give up on GT. 

So cheers to a new era of success. And farewell to the old forgotten one. This time, we won’t go down without a fight.  GT Fights for GT Pride.
